Our case was not straightforward. We are British citizens who have lived in the south of France for the last 12 years. I bought my property through Tropicana in 2006. They were the only agent in Almuñecar who took the time to set my needs and expectations before showing me suitable properties and certainly what I thought I wanted was not what I needed! Instead of a cortijo I have bought a stunning duplex apartment, overlooking the sea and have enjoyed every minute of the 16 years I have owned. We decided to buy a property in Almuñecar and e-mailed Tropicana in English with our requirements. They responded very quickly and arranged viewings of some suitable properties, one of which was perfect. Tropicana carried out the negotiation, our offer was accepted and we have now completed.
